Holiday Treats That Keep You on Track

Are you feeling pulled towards the Holiday baked goods?

Is it getting more difficult to stay on your wellness path?

GO AHEAD- GIVE IN TO TEMPTATION!

But make those treats YOURSELF, and make them healthy.

You don't have to deprive yourself at the Holiday treat table, just bake smart!





VANILLA CRANBERRY BREAD

(for those on the Sure & Steady and Continued Commitment food plans)

(Servings: 10)

1 cup of oats

1 cup of dried cranberries

¼ cup of whipped cream cheese

2 egg whites

¼ cup of almond milk

7 oz of apple sauce

2 tsp of coconut oil

2 tsp of vanilla extract

3 servings of TLS Nutrition Shake — Creamy Vanilla


Preheat oven to 325 F.

Combine all the ingredients, and whisk them until smooth.

Coat a bread pan with cooking spray.

Pour in the batter and bake for 30–35 minutes.

CROSS TRAINER CUPCAKES

(Continued Commitment, Sure & Steady)

(Servings: 12)

1¼ cup of oat flour

1/4 cup of Stevia powder

½ cup of unsweetened applesauce

½ cup of Greek yogurt (plain)

¼ cup of almond milk

2 tsp of baking powder

½ tsp of baking soda

½ tsp of salt

1 tsp of almond extract

1 tsp of vanilla extract

3 egg whites

1 serving of TLS Nutrition Shake — Vanilla

Light whipped cream (optional)


Preheat oven to 375 F.

Coat the muffin pan with cooking spray.

Combine all the ingredients in blender or food processor, mixing until the consistency is uniform.

Pour the mixture into a muffin pan and bake for 20 minutes.

Cool and top with light whipped cream.

Store in the refrigerator as needed.
